Broadcaster and Journalist, Weather Presenter, Keynote Speaker on Diversity and Inclusion, Awards and Event Host
The journalist and broadcaster Emmanuelle Lhoni is one of the youngest weather presenters at the BBC. Emmanuelle presents the BBC weather for the North of England, across four television stations and a network of radio stations. Before moving into weather presenting, her journalistic work was broadcast across the regional programme BBC North West Tonight, BBC Stories and the BBC World Service (BBC Africa, BBC Minute and BBC Afrique). She’s covered a range of major stories on North West Tonight including Hillsborough.
Emmanuelle is a talented and confident event host, great with a live audience and possessing the versatility to MC a range of engagements including awards ceremonies. She is also a highly accomplished keynote and motivational speaker, able to inspire and entertain audiences across a range of subjects including diversity.
The first person in her immediate family to go to university, she studied Broadcast Journalism at one of the Russell Group universities – University of Leeds, before studying MA International Journalism at City, University of London.
Emmanuelle Lhoni hosted our special awards evening with over 400 guests at a black-tie dinner. Emmanuelle was both professional to deal with in advance of our event and during rehearsals for our awards show, however it was on the big night itself that she really delivered! Engaging and friendly with our dinner guests, award finalists and winners. Emmanuelle brought sparkle to our event and was a pleasure to work with across our experienced events and audio-visual teams. Our very many guests were delighted to meet this talented and confident presenter. I would highly recommend Emmanuelle for awards nights and corporate special events.

Emmanuelle was a panel member for our BAME Creative week, where she not only talked about her own career path but she spent lots of time after her panel event individually meeting students to give them career and CV advice. Her talk for our weekly Media Futures event was truly inspirational and incredibly well attended by lots of eager media students.
